RCMA Installs 2026 Leadership and Honors Physicians for Outstanding Service January 29, 2026 Events, RCMA/CMA 0 Riverside, CA — January 21, 2026 Riverside County Medical Association (RCMA) hosted its 133rd Installation of Officers & Annual Awards Dinner on Wednesday evening, January 21, 2026, at the Victoria Club in Riverside, bringing together physician leaders, community partners, and stakeholders to celebrate leadership, service, and the role of organized medicine in Riverside County. During the ceremony, Benjamin Mahdi, M.D. was installed as 2026 RCMA President along with Sumanta Chaudhuri, M.D., President-Elect, Alexandra Clark, M.D., Secretary-Treasurer, and Mohammed Khan, M.D., Councilor. Together, along with the entire Board of Councilors, they will guide the association’s advocacy, programs, and physician support efforts in the year ahead. RCMA also recognized three physicians with 2025 Outstanding Contribution Awards for their exceptional service to medicine and the community: Lawrence Robinson, M.D., Outstanding Contribution to the Medical Association and Its Goals Rajagopal Krishnan, M.D., Outstanding Contribution to Medicine Maher Abdallah, M.D., Outstanding Contribution to the Community The evening featured remarks from René Bravo, M.D., President of the California Medical Association, who emphasized the importance of physician advocacy, building relationships with local and state legislators, and remaining engaged in health policy discussions during a period of significant change in health care.
