February 2026 President's Message April 21, 2026 RCMA, RCMA/CMA President's Message, RCMA 0 Dear Colleagues, On January 21st, I had the honor of being installed as the 2026 President of Riverside County Medical Association at our Annual Installation & Awards Dinner, alongside Sumanta Chaudhuri, M.D., as President-Elect, Alexandra Clark, M.D., as Secretary, and Mohammed Khan, M.D., as Councilor. We also celebrated our 2025 Outstanding Contribution Award recipients, Lawrence Robinson, M.D., Rajagopal Krishnan, M.D., and Maher Abdallah, M.D. As we begin the year, I encourage you to take a moment to review RCMA’s 2025 Year in Review, which highlights our collective impact, from physician advocacy and practice support to workforce development and physician well-being. You can also read my Incoming President’s Message, where I share more about how I hope to approach this year of service. Tomorrow, February 3rd, we recognize National Women Physicians Day, honoring the legacy of Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell and celebrating the extraordinary contributions of women physicians across every specialty. RCMA is proud to stand with the women who lead, innovate, and provide compassionate care throughout Riverside County. I am also pleased to share that the 2026 Scholarship Cycle is now open for medical students and early-career physicians. These programs play a critical role in strengthening our local physician workforce and addressing shortages here at home. I encourage you to apply, support, or donate at www.rcmadocs.org/scholarships. Finally, if you missed our recent 2026 Employment Law Update Webinar, hosted by Pamela Thakur of Thakur Law Firm, the replay is now available and reflects the practical guidance we strive to deliver year-round. I look forward to working alongside you and connecting with many of you at upcoming RCMA programs and events, as we continue building a strong, connected, and resilient physician community. Warm regards, Benjamin Mahdi, M.D. 2026 President Riverside County Medical Association Comments are closed.
